  • YWCA’s Y Act Up is a civic engagement and leadership program for young women between 16 and 29 years of age. Funded by Canadian Heritage under the Youth Take Charge stream, the program provides young women with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills, build community and become agents of change while improving their connection to their community and Canada.

  • Equal Voice is a multi-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the election of more women to all orders of government in Canada. Equal Voice Youth (EVY) was established in the summer of 2005 to engage young Canadians in a drive to ensure that women are equally represented in public life, where research shows that outreach to young women is a crucial factor in pursuit of this goal.
